Hi I am Amy Strom.  I began practicing yoga 14 years ago, when as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, I couldn’t even touch my toes.  I couldn’t believe how hard it was and how much I wanted to do more.  I began teaching yoga 13 years ago.  Having an extensive background in exercise physiology, I apply the western principles of alignment to the ancient practice of yoga.  I believe that yoga is for everybody.  I know from experience that the practice of yoga will enrich your physical, emotional and spiritual life.  It is my job as a teacher to help you find your personal path in your practice.  I look forward to sharing the journey of yoga with you.  My primary influences in yoga are BKS Iyengar and the principles of alignment as described by John Friend.  My practice style is invigorating, energizing and calming.
